A Sure-fire Formula for Success (10/25/2026)

“Ponder the path of your feet,

And let all your ways be established.

Do not turn to the right or the left;

Remove your foot from evil” (Proverbs 4:26-27).

Of all of the formulas for life that exist in our world, this one has to be at the top

because it comes directly from God, thus coinciding with instructions given to those

of us living in the Christian Age.

To “ponder” means to weigh carefully all aspects of a matter before making any

decision. Establishing our ways means that, after thorough contemplation, we are

firm that the conclusion we have reached is the correct one.

Not turning “to the right or the left” directs us to stay focused on the pathway we

have selected after we have thoroughly weighed the options.

Removing our “foot from evil” allows for our humanity: that is, as humans we are

not perfect and we do make mistakes; consequently, we need a means of getting

back on course. God allows that opportunity with this direction: when we stumble

and violate God’s will, we do have an advocate with the Father through His Son.

God’s grace, love, and mercy shine through in this magnificent formula that

summarizes His plan for our redemption—it provides a pathway by which we have

the opportunity to make it through this life as humans made perfect by the atoning

blood of Jesus and spend eternity with Them in Heaven.
